We are looking for a software architect who knows how business, technical and end-user requirements are implemented in products in order to develop optimal products, solutions and enhancements.

As a Software Architect, you will translate the requirements collected from the client, product managers and business analysts into the architecture for a specific solution, as well as describe it through architecture and design. 
You will use Qvantel’s Classics architecture as a baseline when translating business requirements, use cases and user stories into architecture. You will design the blueprint for the product. You will also be participating in pre-sales activities and in Qvantel’s baseline architecture design.

We are looking for a Test Lead to customer transformation program located in Rome. To fulfil this role Test Lead must understand the discipline of testing in agile process with frequent releasing to customer. You will lead a team to manage, develop and run tests (automated and manual) for SW releases and report defects and quality status of release.
Work requires continual customer and internal stakeholder communication to agree test bases proactively as well as get defect fixes at right priority order.

Content and Change Manager

 

Role description:

The content and change manager is maintaining an accurate and real-time business picture of what is going to be delivered vs. the contract or vs. what has been committed at executive level. He or she manages the gaps and is running the change management process (and committee) that will accept or reject a change request in light of the impact or risks

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the change management process and approval committee (involving the Customer and the Qvantel Program)
  • Preparation of forecasts, and evaluation of the actual impact of changes (time and money)
  • Cooperation with respective project teams and the heads of releases and further managers involved in the change 
  • Identification of potential risks
  • Evaluation and ensuring the readiness for a change 
  • Support and management of the necessary formal communication activities related to the changes (including the Program, the Projects, the Account Manager and the Customer)
  • Maintains an accurate picture of what is committed, what is in the pipe, what has changed, what are the release contents vs. is in the contract or vs. additional executive commitments. Highlights and manages the gaps
  • Liaise with the Account Manager for content and change financial impact, pricing or contract value change including penalties and additional cost
  • Establishes a formal communication related to content and change with decision points, impacts, costs, etc. as required to align all parties and support the decision making process
  • Implements and runs an effective content and change management committee made of representatives from relevant parties including the Customer. This committee will be involved in the change management process to accept or reject changes in light of the impacts and risks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telco/operator industry or software development companies
  • Experience on liaising with the customer stakeholders and internal technical team members
  • Understanding software development methods and practicalities
  • Experience in change management or similar positions
  • Experience on leading people in multicultural environment
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills
