Solution Consultant

 

Solution consultant is a senior role, where you work at the customer front facilitating the contextualization of customer requirements in relation with the Qvantel product capabilities and customer specific BSS solution architecture. You can find cost-effective solutions without compromising business targets, acting as an interpreter between business and IT.  You will have the key role in bringing in the customer insights to the Qvantel product development and supporting them turning those into new Qvantel product features or customization points. You work with the close co-operation with the project managers, solution architects, product managers and product owners, mainly focusing on the analysis and design phases of the project.

You have extensive knowledge on telecom domain, both from business and technology perspective. As a person you are a pro-active solution finder who can grasp complex systems quickly. You are not afraid to voice concerns and propose alternative solutions in the case where the business or financial targets are not met. You are able to convince and negotiate with different stakeholders, both internal and external and driving the resolution of topics.

 

Requirements

  • Solution and process design competence in area of Telecommunications Business Support Systems (Customer Care, Sales, Charging, Billing, Order Management and back-office processes)
  • Deep understanding of the business requirements, both functional and non-functional, and an organized, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Broad business and technical knowledge of BSS domain
  • Knowledge in business processes and data models
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Language skills: fluent English required, other languages advantage

  • Consulting experience or experience of working for system integrator company
  • Experience from implementing digital transformation programs
