Project Manager


Bilingual systems/ telecommunications Engineer with more than 6 years occupying positions as Project Manager on telecoms companies. 

Solid/ advanced knowledge on Microsoft Project tool.

Core function:  Project Manager (PM) main goal is to take care that all non-trivial changes to service platform (including but not limited to data center facilities, network connections, servers, system software, monitoring, and user rights management) are planned, scheduled, communicated, implemented, documented, and deployed in a managed way. PMs may be specialized to certain areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Planning, proactiveness and decision-making authority and impact

  • Works under regular direction as set by Project Steering Group and Project Owner
  • Operates with a high degree of independence but seeks guidance when meeting more complex issues.
  • Applies agreed methods and tools to project management
  • Provides input on working schedules that impact project activities and subsequently the work of immediate team members
  • Makes decisions within the project scope and decision-making authority set by Project Steering Group / Project Owner

Leadership, influencing and customer mind-set

  • Proactively leads own and project team work to achieve common business objectives.
  • Actively shares knowledge to stakeholders.
  • Interfaces and collaborates with all stakeholders
  • Helps team members in need and takes responsibility in making sure that arising issues and risks find ownership within the team.

The job requires:

  • Suitable educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in the information technology sector 
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
