Chief Quality Officer

Role description:

The Chief Quality Officer is accountable for the overall “Right First Time” software delivery performance by making sure the organization identifies and addresses the root causes of delays or quality issues and is a excellent communicator, both in written and oral form.


  • Leadership / supervisory role: implements, obtains and monitors quality performance measures (KPI’s)
  • Has full authority to require and review quality improvement plans from any party (teams, release, programs; departments)
  • Requests or drives interactive post-mortem analysis to identify root causes
  • Requests improvement plans to address any defect root causes
  • Adopts a strong data (statistics) based analysis and approach (root cause analysis based on data)
  • Recommends changes that will address identified root cause (people, process, organization, systems), obtains commitments and monitors / manages the implementation
  • Ensure compliance to best product development / software engineering practices

Location: Finland or Sweden
